Our clinical teams work within Private Patient GP Centres, caring for predominantly professional and executive populations across some of the UK's most prestigious organisations, including global banks, insurers, and professional services firms.

We are seeking a confident and autonomous Practice Nurse with an Independent Nurse Prescriber (V300) qualification to join our onsite healthcare team at our Private Medical Centre in Glasgow city centre. Working closely with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will support the delivery of high-quality clinical care, health screening programmes, vaccinations, specialist clinics, and health promotion initiatives.

This role is particularly suited to nurses from General Practice or community healthcare settings with a passion for preventative healthcare and patient wellbeing.

What you will do - Conduct patient health assessments and triage appointments.

  • Support GPs in the management of chronic disease and long-term conditions.
  • Review and monitor patient medications and treatment plans.
  • Administer vaccinations and immunisations, including travel vaccinations.
  • Undertake cervical screening and support women's health services.
  • Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, ECGs and wound care.
  • Deliver lifestyle advice on smoking cessation, nutrition, exercise and weight management.
  • Prescribe medications within your scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance and infection control standards.
  • Support private health assessments, occupational health services and executive health screening programmes.

What You'll Bring - NMC Registered Nurse qualification.

  • Experience within Primary Care or General Practice including INP
  • Independent Prescribing (V300) qualification.
  • Immunisation competency.
  • Phlebotomy skills.
  • Travel health experience (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
  • Strong IT skills and meticulous attention to detail in clinical record-keeping.
