Deeside Medical Centre are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate nurse who can deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Main roles and responsibilities
Chronic disease management, Immunisations and
vaccinations, Cervical screening, anticoagulation
monitoring, Documentation and clinical governance.
The Practice Nurse will support the delivery of essential primary care services, health promotion, disease prevention, immunisation programmes and the management of acute and long-term conditions.
The postholder is required to deliver safe, effective and compassionate patient care in accordance current clinical guidance and practice policies.
Deeside Medical Centre is a small, close knit-surgery with a welcoming and friendly team. Qualifications
Essential
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience in general practice.
- Experience in long-term condition management.
- Training or experience in immunisations.
- Training or experience in cervical screening.
- Training or experience in chronic disease reviews.
- Follow infection prevention and control policies.
- Comply with safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately.
Desirable: - Knowledge of relevant primary care clinical systems and national guidelines.; - Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement and incident reporting.
