The main duties will include (but are not exhaustive) using SystmOne to register referrals, answer telephone calls and deal with queries from patients and other healthcare providers including our own team.
Making or cancelling appointments for patients.
We also use AccuRx for contacting patients so having a reasonable knowledge of IT is beneficial and training will be given on the systems.
There will also be reception duties at Avenue House on a rotational basis

Qualifications
Essential
- Evidence of good general secondary education
- GCSE passes, English and maths preferable
- Ability to undertake additional training on departmental IT and manual systems
Experience
Essential
- Previous clerical work in a confidential environment
- Experience of using windows IT applications
Skills
Essential
- Good communication skills with all levels of staff, patients and the public, both in person and on the telephone
- Listening skills
