Job description
35 hours a week (worked across 4.5 days as Friday we finish 12.00/1.00) – If the Physio can only do 4 days we could manage that as well. Start Date: Ideally 25 August. However, if you have existing commitments or a notice period to work, we are happy to be flexible for the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities Clinical
To provide physiotherapy assessment (e.g. functional, behavioural and standardised assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories and interviews) and intervention in accordance with the child’s needs and requirements as stated within the statementYou will assess, input and monitor any seating requirements for the pupils. Where relevant, you will work together with the Occupational Therapist.Develop intervention plans based on student needs and regularly evaluate.Monitor and reassess the effects of physiotherapy intervention and the need to continue, modify, or discontinue intervention.Participates in multidisciplinary meetings to review evaluation results, integrate findings with other disciplines, offer recommendations and develop individual education plans and intervention plans to achieve IEP goals.To be an active member of Side by Side’s MDT team and contributes to the strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation.Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure team understanding of student physiotherapy performance strengths and needs, through evaluation, educational programme planning and service delivery.
