Locum Band 8c Pharmacist (Aseptic Services) job in Salisbury Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced
Band 8c Pharmacist to join an NHS Medicines Aseptic Services Team in Salisbury on a locum basis. Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Location: Salisbury Working Pattern: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
The Role This is a senior pharmacy leadership role within Aseptic Services, acting as the Deputy Accountable Pharmacist for Aseptic Services and supporting the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of aseptic preparations. The successful candidate will provide professional leadership, clinical expertise, and operational oversight within the aseptic unit, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with relevant regulatory, quality assurance, and governance standards. You will work closely with pharmacy, clinical, and operational teams to support service development and maintain high-quality patient care.
GPhC-registered PharmacistSignificant current experience working within Aseptic Services at a PharmacistPrevious experience at senior pharmacist level within an NHS or equivalent healthcare settingExperience acting as, or supporting, an Accountable Pharmacist for Aseptic ServicesExtensive knowledge of aseptic preparation, quality assurance, and regulatory requirementsStrong leadership, service development, and team management skillsExperience contributing to governance, risk management, and quality improvement initiativesExcellent communication and multidisciplinary team working skillsStrong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment Apply For more information or to apply, please click apply ASAP
