Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) - Care Home

As a Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) at Barchester, you will be responsible for travelling across the region to deliver high clinical standards. Your role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that on each shift, at every location, all residents receive the highest quality of care. The job includes making sure new residents are settling in and assisting in advancing team members' skills, while developing care plans tailored to residents' physical and mental needs. You will have the freedom and autonomy to work in the right way and will be valued and respected for your contributions.

You must hold a UK Driving License for this role - the role will involve travelling to care homes within an hours commute and covering both days and nights if needed.

ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Peripatetic Nurse, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. A strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge is important, as is a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards. We'll also look for a successful track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments. Dedicated and ambitious, you'll be able to lead by example your can-do approach and excellent communication skills will motivate the teams in each Barchester care home you work with.
