As a Peripatetic Nurse (RGN) at Barchester, you will travel across your region to deliver the high clinical standards the company is known for. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that on each shift, at every location, all residents get the highest quality care. Your responsibilities range from helping new residents settle in and advancing team members' skills to developing tailored care plans for residents' physical and mental needs. You will have the autonomy to perform your duties the right way, underpinned by a dedication to delivering excellent care. Barchester seeks a Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration and a qualification in teaching, mentoring, or supervision. Strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge is vital, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks for safe medicine administration. Successful candidates will have a track record of producing care plans and conducting detailed risk assessments and possess leadership skills to motivate teams in different care homes.

As a Peripatetic Nurse, you'll have the freedom and autonomy to do things the right way and be truly valued and respected for what you do.

ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Peripatetic Nurse, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. A strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge is important, as is a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards. We'll also look for a successful track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments. Dedicated and ambitious, you'll be able to lead by example your can-do approach and excellent communication skills will motivate the teams in each Barchester care home you work with.
