Peripatetic Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead

As a Peripatetic Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead at Barchester, you will be responsible for traveling across your region to manage and develop teams in various care homes. You'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Essential experience includes working in a nursing home setting, managing safeguarding investigations, conducting clinical risk assessments, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are crucial for this role.

ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. Previous experience of working within a nursing home setting is essential and evidence of continual professional development is also required. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important too, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. We'll also look for some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. You'll be compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment. Finally, due to the nature of this role, you must be flexible and willing to travel.
