strengthening relationships to develop a deep understanding of workforce

challenges and future requirements. You will design and implement innovative

learning and development solutions that support individual growth, strengthen

teams and contribute to organisational success. You will also be proactive and

self-motivated, using your initiative to build relationships and identify

direction and priorities agreed with the wider Training Team.

This role is not simply about

identifying opportunities to create development pathways that support career progression

and workforce sustainability. This will involve you visiting all FCMS sites

(locations available on our website).

You will play a key role in shaping how learning and

development are experienced across FCMS, ensuring our people have engaging,

  • Evaluate learning activity to ensure programmes are achieving meaningful outcomes and adding value
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organisation

Apprenticeships and career pathways

  • Support the continued development and promotion of apprenticeship opportunities across FCMS. These are owned by the Training Team, and will be delivered and owned separately to the People Development Partner, although an awareness of the work in this area will be required
  • Work alongside managers and colleagues to identify qualification and CPD pathways that support workforce development
  • Support the development and communication of talent pipelines that strengthen recruitment, retention and progression of talent across the organisation

Leadership and talent development

  • Facilitate the design and delivery of management and development initiatives
  • Contribute to talent development programmes that nurture future leaders across FCMS
  • Help managers create development opportunities that build confidence, competence and capability
