The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a range of women's health services, including:
- Cervical screening and smear clinics
- Contraception advice and support
- Menopause care and health promotion
- Sexual health assessment and signposting
- Health education and preventative care
- Supporting patients with long-term conditions as appropriate
- Working collaboratively with GPs, pharmacists, social prescribers and wider PCN colleagues
- Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Foundry Healthcare is a large, successful Primary Care Network serving patients across multiple sites in Lewes and the surrounding villages. We are a training practice supported by a strong Partnership and Management Team, alongside a skilled multidisciplinary workforce including Salaried GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

Experience
Essential
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Experience working in General Practice or Primary Care
- Competent in cervical cytology (smear taking)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to high standards of patient care
Desirable
- Additional qualifications or training in Women's Health
- Experience supporting menopause services
- Contraception and sexual health experience
- Competence in contraceptive implant insertion and removal
- Competence in intrauterine contraception (coil) fitting and removal
- Experience in chronic disease management
- Familiarity with SystmOne
