We are looking for someone with a good knowledge and understanding of Primary Care who can manage the delivery of a number of projects across all of the PCN practices. You will be self-motivated with a pragmatic can-do approach to ensure that the practices start to realise the tangible benefits that we know can be achieved quickly by working better together as PCN. You will work to develop and embed the teams and this will be a catalyst to introducing more harmonised working between our practices.
This is an exciting opportunity to join this GP provider organisation encompassing GP practices across Bradford City with a total patient population of around 160,000 and representing one voice for primary care in the City area.
Further ongoing support is provided through both local and countrywide governance and peer support groups. Additional professional development in line with the individuals needs will be available with shadowing, e-learning, relevant courses/conferences and higher level training opportunities being supported.
Salary will be based on the skills and experience that you bring to the role.

Experience
Essential
- Specialist knowledge of working in an administrative and business environment and its systems and practices including projects, business/strategic planning and information management
- Demonstrable experience of effective planning and organisational skills to deliver targets to deadlines
- Experience of successfully developing and implementing projects.
- A minimum of two years experience of working in a senior management role
Desirable
- Knowledge of primary care contracting and commissioning
- Experience of working in primary care or the wider NHS
- An understanding of the specific health inequalities and demographic challenges facing the Bradford City ICB area
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple GP practices simultaneously
Qualifications
Essential: - Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or management qualification at equivalent level; - Training / experience of working at graduate level
Desirable: - Evidence of continued professional development
Skills and abilities
Essential
- High level of professional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate.
- High calibre of technical literacy; Microsoft Applications eg Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook.
- Experience of general practice clinical systems and reports (ideally SystmOne)
- Proactive and a natural leader to promote new thinking and ways of working
- Supporting colleagues to work as an effective team and develop their own skills.
- Excellent motivational skills to ensure completion of tasks on time and able to effectively influence others to complete agreed actions
- Ability to analyse/collate and interpret information and present results in a clear and concise manner
- Effective problem solver and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to use initiative, make decisions and solve problems independently and to know when to refer upwards
- Ability to provide and receive sensitive information in a confidential manner, resolve queries and conflict by using tact, diplomacy and emotional intelligence

- Ability to engage with external agencies and stakeholders to represent the PCNs interests
