Symphony Healthcare Services is seeking a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Patient Services Advisor to join the team at Creech Medical Centre. Thi...
This role requires an individual who can communicate with patients in a professional, calm and compassionate manner, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a busy administrative environment.
You will play a key role in supporting patients to access the most appropriate service or healthcare professional, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and sensitively. The role also involves undertaking a wide range of administrative duties in line with established procedures, protocols and timescales.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise their workload effectively, and comfortable managing competing demands while working collaboratively as part of a busy team. Accuracy, reliability and excellent time-management skills are essential.
You will also be confident in identifying and escalating any concerns relating to quality, patient safety, risk or safeguarding to the appropriate manager or clinician as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
Strong IT skills are required, including experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Word. The ability to learn and use practice-based clinical systems will also be important.
Previous experience within the NHS or General Practice setting would be advantageous; however, this is not essential, and applications are welcomed from candidates with transferable customer service and administrative experience.
Please read the attached job decsription before applying.
Symphony Healthcare Services (Symphony) was established
in 2016 as part of the award-winning Symphony Programme Vanguard, developing
new models of care. We now support 16 practices across Somerset providing care for over 100,000 patients.
Symphony has developed a model where each practice is
encouraged to operate autonomously, but as a subsidiary of NHS Somerset
Foundation Trust (SFT), and with the backing and economies of scale from a
central support team (particularly for HR, finance, corporate and strategic
management matters).
Providing NHS services is at the heart of what we
do. Our vision is to ensure that primary care is sustainable for patients and
practices in Somerset, and we aim to be a national exemplar for primary care
provision. We work closely with our practice teams to support, develop and
transform patient care and working practices with innovation and technology at our core.
Symphony welcome applications from people of all
backgrounds and underrepresented groups. When undertaking recruitment and
selection for our services, Symphony are committed to equality of opportunity for
all.
Symphony offers a NHS or NEST Pension, a fantastic range
of employee benefits and salary sacrifice schemes (see attached poster), along
with flexible working from day of employment and an agile approach to home /
office-based working (where applicable).
We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your
application.
