Previous experience using EMIS Web is essentialPrevious experience within a GP practice or healthcare settingStrong administration and IT skillsProfessional and confident telephone mannerExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationOrganised, reliable and able to work under pressureAvailable to work every Monday and FridayCurrent DBS certificate is advantageous

Welcome patients and respond to enquiries professionallyAnswer incoming telephone calls and deal with patient queriesBook, amend and cancel patient appointmentsMaintain and monitor the appointment systemSignpost patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or serviceEnter and update patient information using EMIS WebProcess emails, correspondence and patient registrationsSupport clinical and administrative colleagues with day-to-day tasksMaintain accurate, confidential patient recordsDeliver a friendly, professional and efficient service at all times
