As a Pathology Screening Administrator, you will
- Provide administrative support to Pathology screening programmes and related services.
- Input, maintain and process patient and screening information accurately and efficiently.
- Support the coordination of screening activities, ensuring records, correspondence and documentation are managed effectively.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, worklists and routine administrative information.
- Organise meetings, prepare documents and take minutes when required.
- Provide general administrative support across the Pathology Directorate, including cross-cover for colleagues.
- Contribute to the coordination and prioritisation of administrative workflows across screening and wider pathology services.
- Assist in the organisation of meetings, including preparation of documents and taking minutes where required.
- To support and assist with monthly invoices for Pathology and issue invoices in times of absence.

Qualifications
Essential
- Business and Administration NVQ 3 or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Good general education with GCSE in English & Maths to grade C or above or equivalent qualifications to this level.
Desirable
- Administrative qualification
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in an administrative role
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Demonstrable experience of accurate data entry and record keeping
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Desirable
- Demonstrable experience in an NHS or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of pathology or clinical systems
- Demonstrable experience of handling clinical correspondence
