Salisbury Foundation NHS Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Sister/Charge Nurse who is passionate, motivated and committed to the car...
The successful candidate will be a clearly identifiable senior clinical staff member and team leader.
They will be a role model for expert clinical care and lead on specific projects/ management responsibilities as delegated by the Ward Lead.
They will role model the identified Trust values , deputising for the Ward Lead in their absence.

Education , Qualifications and Training
Essential
- Current RN child registration , registered with NMC
- Nursing degree/ diploma , evidence of working at level 6/7
- Evidence of recent ongoing professional development
- Relevant post registration qualifications in speciality
- Mentorship/ teaching / Assessing course
Desirable: - Completion of leadership/ management course
Experience
Essential
- Proven clinical experience in an acute paediatric setting
- Experience of taking charge / coordinating acute paediatric ward
- Evidence of teaching and assessing
- Experience of working within a MDT
Desirable: - Experience in quality improvement projects or change initiatives
Knowledge and skills
Essential
- Demonstrable proven clinical skills in relevant area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skills in organisation and establishing priorities
- Comprehensive and logical career pathway within paediatrics
