  • Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers and partner agencies.
  • Drive excellent outcomes for children and young people.
  • Manage safeguarding, quality assurance, audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of high aspirations, compassion and continuous improvement.

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential home.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards where eligible).
  • Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s home legislation.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience registering a new children’s home.
  • Track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections.
  • Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.

  • Competitive salary.
  • Full support throughout the registration process.
  • Opportunities for career progression as the organisation grows.
  • Ongoing professional development and training.
  • A genuine opportunity to shape a service.

If you are passionate about improving the lives of children and are ready to lead an exciting new residential service through registration and beyond, we'd love to hear from you.

Please submit your CV along with a short covering letter outlining your experience and why you would be the right person to lead our new home.

Immediate start available – Applicants with previous Ofsted registration experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
