AHP Suffolk CIC is a staff lead, specialist musculoskeletal Social Enterprise, our aim and purpose is to provide high quality accessible NHS commissioned health care to support people return to optimal health and stay healthy. We work in partnership with our staff, patients and commissioners to develop a continually improving range of services to meet their needs effectively and efficiently.
We have a reputation for innovation, service and staff development and well supported continuous professional development.
Set up as a social enterprise over 13 years ago, we provide NHS commissioned MSK Physiotherapy services from multiple sites across Suffolk, from community hospitals, health centres, gyms, and GP surgeries. We have developed and run U Refer, a successful web-based self-referral platform, and single point of referral for secondary care, and offer virtual and face to face clinical appointments, exercise classes and 121 rehabilitation.

Qualifications
Essential
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council
- Member of the RCOT or equivalent professional liability insurance
- Evidence of up-to-date, relevant CPD
Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable post graduate Occupational therapy knowledge and experience
- Experience of supervising, coaching and mentoring others
- Experience of supporting and delivering In-Service Training programmes
- Ability to apply developed knowledge and skills in order to demonstrate professional competence and fitness to practice
- Relevant experience to the role including assessment and management of functional ability
- Excellent knowledge of clinical risk assessment and risk management guidelines
- Awareness of current legislation
- Knowledge of primary care and community services
Desirable: - Post graduate training in palliative care
