Are you passionate about creating healthier, more supportive workplaces where people can thrive? This is an opportunity to influence occupational health strategy, champion employee wellbeing and make a lasting impact across a diverse workforce.

Consortium Professional Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an established organisation to recruit an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Business Partner. Working collaboratively with HR, Health and Safety and operational teams, you'll have the autonomy to develop practical, people-centred solutions that improve employee health, support attendance and create a positive working environment.

As an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Business Partner, you'll play a key role in:

  • Leading occupational health case management, providing practical advice and supporting employees and managers with appropriate workplace adjustments and successful returns to work.
  • Developing and delivering proactive health and wellbeing initiatives, including mental health support, health education and employee engagement programmes.
  • Coordinating occupational health assessments, medical screening and referrals, working with external specialists where appropriate.
  • Partnering with HR, Health and Safety and site leadership to strengthen occupational health practices, improve attendance and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Reviewing occupational health policies, managing confidential records and identifying opportunities to improve processes and employee experiences.

Your work will directly contribute to creating a healthier, more inclusive workplace where employees feel supported, wellbeing is prioritised and the business can perform at its best.

  • A foundation degree or higher qualification in nursing, alongside current NMC registration.
  • At least two years' experience in occupational health management, with an understanding of employee health assessments and case management.
  • The ability to provide clear, compassionate and evidence-based occupational health advice while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with employees, managers and external healthcare providers.
  • A proactive, organised approach and an interest in developing wellbeing initiatives that make a measurable difference.

Experience of coordinating health screening programmes, delivering wellbeing training or improving occupational health processes would be valuable.

You'll also be comfortable travelling to other UK sites when required, with travel anticipated at approximately 10–25%.

Above all, we're interested in individuals who combine professional expertise with empathy, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to supporting people.

  • Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 with an excellent benefits package
  • The opportunity to shape occupational health and wellbeing initiatives across a UK-wide organisation.
  • Opportunities to develop your professional knowledge and contribute to meaningful improvement projects.
