As a Nursing & Quality Manager your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Provide visible senior nursing leadership across the directorate.
- Support delivery of the Nursing & Quality Strategy.
- Develop and coach nursing and clinical teams.
- Support nursing leaders with complex workforce, quality and clinical issues.
- Deputise for the Directorate Head of Nursing & Quality when required.
- Lead and support quality improvement programmes.
- Conduct and support audits, governance activities and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor quality metrics and service performance indicators.
- Ensure learning from incidents, complaints and audits leads to measurable improvements.
- Maintain oversight of risk registers, incident reporting and patient safety processes.
- Support implementation of quality improvement action plans.
- Deliver workshops and education sessions where required
- Work closely with Heads of Healthcare and multidisciplinary teams.
- Attend and contribute to HMPPS and partnership meetings.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursing & Quality Manager to join the Health in Justice service at Practice Plus Group.
You will work across the London and East Directorate which covers our prisons across London and the East of England.
This role is home based, with travel to sites across the directorate as required.
This is a senior clinical leadership role providing nursing leadership and quality oversight across the directorate portfolio of prison and secure environment healthcare services. You will work closely with operational and clinical leaders to ensure services are safe, effective, patient-centred and compliant with regulatory standards.
This position is full time working 37.5 hours per week.
You will receive an annual salary of £60,000 to £70,000 per annum.

- Be a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Line management experience.
- Experience with Patient Safety Investigation Response Framework (PSIRF)
- Understanding of healthcare policies, governance and best practice.
