Undertaking typing tasks as requested by the Manager or Deputy
Filing letters, medicine/accident forms
Clerical tasks as required i.e. photocopying, answering the telephone, etc to support team members.
Undertaking collation tasks when required, such as photocopying and distributing meeting paperwork, making up parent packs, etc
Undertake work when requested by the Manager or Deputy as well as prioritising workload appropriately
Communicate inter-departmentally with all levels of staff
On the request from the Senior Manager or Manager you may be required to cover colleagues during absences/annual/sick leave etc. You may also be required to undertake job rotation for cross cover as well as for development and training purposes
Undertake any other appropriate duties, commensurate with the role as required at the request of your line manager.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE Grade c/4 in English and Maths, or equivalent (e.g. Functional Skills Level 1 Literacy & Numeracy)
Experience
Desirable
- Previous experience of working within a childcare setting
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Essential
- Are highly motivated
- Good communication skills and to get on well with children and adults to communicate effectively
- Demonstrates what it meant by and the factors which contribute to a safe environment
- Ability to work on own initiative, independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- A knowledge and understanding of Ofsted's Full Day care National Standards
