Main duties of the job include but are not limited to:
Providing personal care, repositioning patients to maintain skin integrity and mobilising patients to support recovery for post-operative patients.
Communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their family/visitors/carers.
Awareness of the importance of accurate documentation and contribute to reports of patients' activity and progress.
Participate in discussions about patient care and ward/departmental development, including handover and team meetings.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Maintain professional boundaries and working relationships with patients and colleagues.

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse Associate on the NMC Register
- Nurse Associate Foundation Degree Qualification
- GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
Skills
Essential
- Able to communicate accurately and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to organise and prioritise own delegated workload
- Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge
Essential
- Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code
- Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional for expert help and advice
