XL Team is recruiting FREC 4 qualified Emergency Care Assistants to support our specialist Evening & Night-Time Economy medical services.
Working alongside First Responders and Registered Paramedics, you will provide enhanced assessment, treatment and monitoring of patients presenting within student nightlife and entertainment environments.
- Undertake structured patient assessments.
- Obtain and monitor clinical observations.
- Recognise serious illness and injury.
- Provide emergency care within your scope of practice.
- Manage medical and trauma presentations.
- Support alcohol and substance-related presentations.
- Monitor and reassess patients within treatment facilities.
- Support resuscitation and time-critical emergencies.
- Identify patients requiring Paramedic or NHS escalation.
- Support welfare and safeguarding interventions.
- Provide structured clinical handovers.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Support First Responders and junior team members.

- Essential: FREC 4 or recognised equivalent, appropriate current clinical competencies and evidence of ongoing CPD.

- Desirable: Previous NTE, event medical, ambulance, venue or festival experience.
