XL Team is recruiting FREC 4 qualified Emergency Care Assistants to support our specialist Evening & Night-Time Economy medical services.

Working alongside First Responders and Registered Paramedics, you will provide enhanced assessment, treatment and monitoring of patients presenting within student nightlife and entertainment environments.

  • Undertake structured patient assessments.
  • Obtain and monitor clinical observations.
  • Recognise serious illness and injury.
  • Provide emergency care within your scope of practice.
  • Manage medical and trauma presentations.
  • Support alcohol and substance-related presentations.
  • Monitor and reassess patients within treatment facilities.
  • Support resuscitation and time-critical emergencies.
  • Identify patients requiring Paramedic or NHS escalation.
  • Support welfare and safeguarding interventions.
  • Provide structured clinical handovers.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Support First Responders and junior team members.

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Essential: FREC 4 or recognised equivalent, appropriate current clinical competencies and evidence of ongoing CPD.

Desirable

  • Desirable: Previous NTE, event medical, ambulance, venue or festival experience.
