XL Team is recruiting qualified FREC 3 First Responders to join our specialist Evening & Night-Time Economy medical teams.
Working within busy student, nightlife and entertainment environments, you will provide immediate medical care alongside EMTs, Paramedics, venue management, security and welfare personnel.
This role is ideal for confident responders who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and can provide calm, compassionate and non-judgemental care.
- Respond to medical incidents throughout the venue.
- Undertake initial patient assessment and basic observations.
- Provide emergency first aid within your scope of practice.
- Manage minor illness and injury.
- Provide basic life support and AED intervention.
- Support patients affected by alcohol or recreational substances.
- Observe and monitor patients under appropriate clinical oversight.
- Recognise deterioration and escalate promptly.
- Support vulnerable individuals and identify welfare/safeguarding concerns.
- Assist EMTs and Paramedics with more complex patients.
- Complete accurate patient documentation.
- Work collaboratively with security, welfare and venue teams.

Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- FREC 3 (current specification) or recognised equivalent, current BLS/AED competence, good communication skills and the ability to work confidently within busy late-night environments.
Desirable
- Previous event or NTE experience would be desirable but isnt essential where the candidate demonstrates the right attitude and competence.
