XL Team is seeking experienced Registered Paramedicsor Nurses to provide advanced clinical care and leadership within our Evening & Night-Time Economy services.
You will work within busy student and entertainment venues, providing advanced assessment and clinical decision-making while supporting First Responders and Emergency Care Assistants.
Selected Paramedics will also undertake Event Clinical Lead responsibilities.
- Advanced patient assessment and clinical decision-making.
- Management of acute illness, injury and time-critical emergencies.
- Advanced life support within scope of practice.
- Medicines administration within XL Team governance arrangements.
- Management of alcohol and substance-related presentations.
- Assessment of mental health, vulnerability and safeguarding concerns.
- Clinical supervision of the wider medical team.
- Appropriate referral and escalation decisions.
- Liaison with NHS Ambulance Services and other healthcare professionals.
- Clinical handover and referral.
- Oversight of significant clinical incidents.
- Support clinical audit and governance processes.

Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Essential: Current HCPC registration as a Paramedic or NMC as a nurse, CPD and evidence of ongoing clinical competence.
- Nurses may be required to have valid ALS training and relevant clinical skills
Desirable
- Desirable: Previous NTE, event medical, ambulance, venue or festival experience.
