As a Night Nurse your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.
- You will undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
- You will use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
- You will contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to; Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
- Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework.
- Inspire excellence by forging strong links with our partners and stakeholders and providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within, and feel proud of.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse to join our team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre, located in Gatwick.
Parking on site, working within the Immigration estate, challenging and fast paced environment, good induction and good pathways for career enhancement. Working with a wide range of healthcare professionals. Hours
Rolling shift pattern covering 7 nights but typically working 3 nights a week, 19:00 to 07:30hrs.
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £49,175 per annum - depending on experience.

- Registered nurse Adult
- Current professional qualification (NMC)
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and best practice
