NHS Referrals Administrator for Neuro Development Services
- Job Type: Temporary initially for 6 months but likely to be extended
- Location: Neuro Development Services (Children and Young People’s Services)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30 or 09:00-17:00
We are seeking a Administrator/ Referrals Administrator to join our Neuro Development Services team within the Children and Young People’s Services department. This role involves managing communication and administrative tasks crucial for the efficient operation of the services.
- Booking appointments for patients via telephone and email.
- Processing various questionnaires related to patient care.
- Regularly communicating via email with patients. schools and medical professionals to handle queries and provide information.
- Liaising with schools and other educational institutions as part of the coordination process.
- Utilising SystmOne for data management and appointment scheduling.
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or educational setting.
- Proficient in using healthcare management systems, ideally SystmOne.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
