Your role will involve calling patients to clinically access their symptoms while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team, including health advisors, nurses, paramedics, mental health practitioners, pharmacists, and more, all to ensure that each patient receives the right care, in the right place, the first time.

You need to be a good communicator with an excellent telephone manner. It is essential that you are computer literate and keen to learn new skills. You must be passionate about high quality patient care and be caring and able to remain calm under pressure.

You will need to be able to commit to a 9-week full time training programme which will be fully paid.

Desirable Requirements

Experience

Essential: - Recent professional experience; - Triage experience; - Customer service experience; - Experience of dealing with emotionally charged situations

Desirable: - Previous experience in a call centre environment such as NHS direct; - Supervisory/coaching/mentoring experience

Qualifications

Essential: - Registered general nurse (RN1, RNA), Specialist Practitioner or Paramedic; - Valid registration with NMC/HCPC

Desirable: - Teaching or assessing qualification
