The role will involve supporting and undertaking

comprehensive assessments and diagnosis for patients referred for potential

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder

(ASD).

Key responsibilities include

-

Conducting

ADHD and Autism assessments in line with NICE guidance and best clinical

practice.

Reviewing

referral documentation, screening questionnaires and supporting evidence.

-

Gathering

developmental histories and collateral information from patients, parents,

carers and other relevant sources.

-

Undertaking

structured clinical interviews and neurodevelopmental assessments.

-

Producing

detailed assessment reports and recommendations.

-

Communicating

assessment outcomes and recommendations to patients, families and referrers.

-

Working

collaboratively with Consultant Psychiatrists, multidisciplinary colleagues and

administrative teams.

-

Maintaining

accurate clinical records and adhering to relevant professional, clinical

governance and regulatory standards.

Supporting

the ongoing development and quality improvement of One Health's

neurodevelopmental services.

Participating

in audit, quality improvement and clinical governance activities as required.

Participating

in clinical supervision and continuing professional development activities.

One Health is seeking a Neurodevelopmental Assessor to join

its Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. This role offers an opportunity to

contribute to the delivery and development of a new service providing

high-quality ADHD and Autism assessments.

The successful candidate will work as part of a

patient-centred service focused on delivering timely, evidence-based

assessments, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and patient experience while

supporting the continued growth and development of One Health's

neurodevelopmental offering.

One Health was established in Sheffield in 2004 and has

successfully grown to become a significant healthcare provider in the region.

Our services are available to NHS patients, with clinics located across

Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

We have a dedicated Patient Liaison Team providing

high-quality administrative support alongside advanced technology that enables

us to deliver a modern, paperless and secure service. One Health is committed

to clinical excellence and providing innovative, high-quality healthcare

services that improve patient outcomes and access to care.

Experience

Essential

  • Current registration with the NMC, HCPC or another relevant UK professional regulatory body.
  • Minimum of two years' post-registration clinical experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in the assessment of ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Experience gathering developmental histories and conducting clinical assessments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience producing detailed clinical reports and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of NICE guidance relating to ADHD and Autism.
  • Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high clinical and governance standards.
  • Experience working with adults and/or children within neurodevelopmental or mental health services.

Desirable

  • Experience working within NHS neurodevelopmental pathways.
  • Experience delivering assessments remotely using digital platforms.
  • Experience with recognised ADHD and Autism assessment frameworks and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience contributing to service development and improvement initiatives.
  • Experience assessing both ADHD and Autism across a broad patient population.
  • Experience participating in audit and quality improvement activities.
