You should be able to take responsibility and ownership for statutory inspections under your delegated area and keep records ensuring the trust complies with current legislation. You should also possess good interpersonal and communication skills including IT and both written and verbal.
This role includes on-call responsibilities. To meet service needs, you must be able to attend the hospital within an appropriate timeframe when called and hold a valid driving licence, and have use of your own vehicle.
You will be responsible for carryout electrical/mechanical repairs and servicing across our NHS retained estates.

Qualifications
Essential
- A fully time served Electrical craftsperson has completed a recognised Apprenticeship or obtained a minimum of a level 2 pass in a relevant electrical discipline
Experience

- Previous installation and maintenance operations on a large, complex and diverse estate.

- Experience in electrical/mechanical fault finding and repairs
Desirable
- Previous experience within the Healthcare Industry.
- Knowledge of: Fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, Swipe Access systems, Emergency Lighting Systems, Backup power supplies, including Generator systems, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies. Combined Heat and Power systems (CHP), HV procedures
