Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting daily routines and personal care where requiredEncouraging independence, confidence and life skillsSupporting appointments, activities and community accessHelping individuals enjoy hobbies, interests and social activitiesBuilding positive and trusting relationshipsWorking alongside families, healthcare professionals and other support servicesResponding calmly and professionally to challenging situationsPromoting dignity, choice, privacy, respect and wellbeing at all times Who are we looking for? We’re looking for people who are compassionate, empathetic, patient and non-judgemental, with the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm under pressure. You’ll need to be reliable, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with a genuine commitment to helping people achieve their goals. Previous experience in mental health, healthcare, social care or supported living is desirable but not essential — full training can be provided for the right candidates.
