Many of the students who attend this school also have other co-existing needs that make it difficult to learn and engage well with their classwork. Many of the students are known to have communication needs, social needs, emotional needs and mental health needs. These needs working together make it difficult for students to learn effectively.

The school are looking for a Mental Health Assistant who will come in, work closely with the students, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, and focus on their intervention plans. These plans are put in place to ensure the students have clear goals to support their development.
