The Inclusion Health and Homelessness Adult Mental Health Team are looking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Mental Health Nurse - this is asplit post with 2 days of initial assessments with City CMHT at and 3 days outreach work with the Inclusion Health and Homeless team.

Are you passionate about promoting recovery and do you hold the values and beliefs in line with the 'Recovery' model and ways of working within mental health and with the most vulnerable and at risk?

Our Team and Service is committed to supporting you in developing as part of this unique pilot project with South Norfolk and Broadland District.

The successful candidates will hold a current Professional qualification as a Registered Nurse with an appetite for creative thinking in the face of challenges, a mind prepared for early adoption of change and innovation. Qualification

Essential

  • Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • Ongoing professional development working towards degree level
  • Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor training (NMC registrants) or Practice Educator (AHP & Social Worker Registrants)

Experience

Essential

  • Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience
  • Demonstrate effective risk assessment and risk management experience

Skills

Essential: - Competent assessment skills

Desirable: - Able to time manage and reflect on clinical practice
