The post holder will work in partnership with service users in the designated care group with complex mental health presentations, developing their care plans and recovery plans to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.

They will provide clinical interventions relevant to the care group to include education, care plans and discharge planning, working closely with carers, families, and partner agencies to facilitate this.

They will have a robust knowledge of evidence based therapeutic interventions relevant to the care group including education, clinical care, wellness recovery action plans and discharge planning.

The post holder will work at all times to promote the safety and the wellbeing of service users and their families/carers.

The post holder will assess, plan, and implement care, and provide specialist advice and interventions.

They will provide clinical supervision to staff and students and act as a mentor for students.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Current professional registration with an approved professional body (NMC, HCPC, Social Work England)
  • Or evidence of having achieved and completed the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes (KSA) KSA portfolio route to BABCP Accreditation with current accreditation of the BABCP).
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
