Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet the specified criteria.
The role involves (but is not limited to):
- Providing support interventions for people with significant mental health conditions.
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team with colleagues in the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team.
- Monitoring and reviewing the use of prescribed medications.

The successful candidate will be required to be flexible but primarily based at Cavell Centre, Peterborough. We will provide the support to ensure your development within your role. We provide a preceptorship programme and regular support and supervision.

Education/Qualifications
Essential
- Registered mental health nurse OR Qualified Occupational Therapist OR Social Worker with mental health experience
Desirable
- Mentorship training or other recognised teaching qualification
- Post basic education/training/development in acute mental health
Experience
Essential
- Evidence of continuing professional practice within an acute mental health setting
- Previous experience working/placement within an Older People's Mental Health team
Desirable
- Six months Post-Registered experience in an acute older persons mental health setting (will consider newly qualified with preceptorship programme for development)
Skills & Abilities
Essential
- Clear and effective communicator
- Ability to work within a multi-professional team
- Ability to manage case work/own time
Desirable
- Ability to participate and contribute to service developments
Physical Requirements
Essential
- Ability to travel independently around Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area meeting required timescales. A Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
