Your duties will include
- Sample preparation - Identification checks & barcode labelling- Data entry - Inputting patient data correctly onto the laboratory computer system- Reception duties - Face to face and telephone queries from service users- Housekeeping duties- Clerical duties - photocopying, filing and scanning.- Participate in quality & audit work

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE qualification or equivalent in English, Science & Mathematics
- IT qualification/experience
Desirable
- Good understanding of Health and Safety issues

- Evidence of previous customer service skills
Desirable
- Demonstrable laboratory assistant experience
- Clinical laboratory experience
- Competent in the use of the laboratory computer systems to input and extract patient data
Skills

- Experience of good Keyboard skills
- Evidence of working in a team
