FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a fast-growing customer support business with the recruitment of a Benefits Claims Advisor.
Permanent, full-time position based in Altrincham.
This is a client-focused role supporting predominantly older customers through Attendance Allowance claims. You will speak with clients about their health, personal circumstances and day-to-day care needs, then turn those conversations into clear, detailed and accurate claims.
Salary
Fully negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits
- Manage claims from initial client interview through to completion.
- Conduct structured telephone appointments with clients, typically lasting 30–60 minutes.
- Discuss medical conditions, symptoms, treatment and day-to-day care requirements.
- Ask detailed follow-up questions to fully understand each client’s circumstances.
- Identify important information that may otherwise be overlooked.
- Prepare accurate, detailed and professionally written claims.
- Maintain high standards of spelling, grammar and written communication.
- Keep accurate client records and case notes.
- Manage a busy caseload and ensure claims progress efficiently.
- Work closely with the wider team to maintain excellent customer service.
- Compassionate, patient and confident speaking with older customers.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Strong written English with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable discussing sensitive health and personal care matters.
- Able to understand and process detailed medical information.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases.
- Previous Attendance Allowance experience is not required as full training will be provided.
- Experience within healthcare, nursing, social care, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, medical administration, case management, legal services or support work would be advantageous.
- A medical or healthcare background would be particularly beneficial.
