Youll play a key role in preparing accurate monthly management accounts, supporting the month-end process and contributing to budgeting and forecasting. Youll analyse financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and work closely with budget holders and stakeholders (business partnering) across the organisation to provide clear, meaningful insights. Youll also help build strong relationships with regional and divisional managers while supporting financial reporting.
What were looking for
Were looking for someone who combines strong accounting knowledge with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Youll need:
- To be a qualified accountant or actively working towards a recognised qualification, such as CIMA or ACCA.
- Previous experience preparing management accounts.
- Experience working with budgets and forecasting.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- The ability to work effectively to deadlines, particularly around month-end.
Whilst the successful candidate will be based in London, the role offers hybrid working, with occasional travel across the country as required.
