The appointee is expected to have a wide range of experience in all aspects of respiratory and general medicine. The appointee will work alongside the existing team to provide comprehensive service provision.
Duties will involve delivery of outpatient clinics and service development, including the setting up of a dedicated Post Ward Discharge/Hot clinic pathway, with the opportunity to potentially work within one other specialist pathway. Additionally the appointee will provide cover for the dedicated ward by delivering ward rounds and providing specialist advice to other areas of Bradford Royal Infirmary, and may contribute to the general medical service.

Experience

- Evidence of completing a period of approved training in Respiratory Medicine

- Ability to perform the requirements of the post

- Ability to work effectively in multi-professional teams
Knowledge
Essential
- Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality

- Computer skills

- An active interest in asthma and/or interstitial lung disease
Qualifications
Essential
- MBChB or equivalent
- MRCP or FRCS of equivalent to specialty (UK)
- On GMC and continue to hold a licence to practice

- Research and/or Fellowships
