- Deliver a diagnostic histopathology service of high quality.
- Contribute to development of the general and specialist histology to support the Trust in ensuring provision of high quality reports.
- Work flexibly with colleagues to support the timely reporting of histology and cytology requests.
- Undertake an appropriate share of the frozen section rota.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary clinical meetings (MDT).
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that standards are maintained and developed through clinical audit, evidence- based research and appraisal.

Qualifications
Essential: - GMC Registration; - FRC Path; - MBBS or equivalent
Desirable: - CCT Registration
Experience
Essential
- Broad and wide experience within Histopathology equivalent to Specialist Registrar training
- Interest and experience in supporting juniors in training
- Participation in the preparation and delivery of audits
Skills
Essential: - Excellent interpersonal skills; - Meticulous attention to detail
