- Travel vaccinations and travel health advice
- Cervical cytology (smears)
- Health assessments and new patient checks
- Hypertension management and reviews
- Asthma, COPD and Diabetes clinics/reviews
- Wound care and dressings
- Long-term condition management
- Medication reviews and treatment monitoring
- Family planning support
- Health promotion and preventative care
- Phlebotomy, ECGs and treatment room procedures
- Opportunistic care and patient education
- Leadership and management responsibilities

Lincoln House Surgery is a busy, progressive GP Practice with two branches in Apsley and Highfield, Hemel Hempstead. You will be expected to work across both sites on a rota basis. We are a supportive, data-driven and agile practice committed to delivering high-quality patient care and investing in our staff. Experience
Essential
- Current experience delivering adult and childhood immunisations
- Knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Adult and childhood immunisations
- Asthma, COPD and Diabetes reviews
- Travel vaccinations and advice
- Cervical cytology (smears)
- Long-term condition management
- Treatment room skills and chronic disease reviews
- Leading on Infection Prevention & Control (IPC)
- Managing staff competencies, training and absence oversight
- Supporting and supervising nursing team performance
Desirable
- Previous Lead Practice Nurse or supervisory experience
- Spirometry qualification
- Experience leading audits and IPC
- Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can bring energy, confidence and leadership and become a key member of the team immediately.
Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in a GP Surgery/Primary Care setting
- General Practice Nurse Foundation Programme (or equivalent experience)
