Lead Pharmacy Technician

The role of a Pharmacy Team Leader involves providing high-quality care and medication treatment to patients in a prison setting. It includes establishing and maintaining relationships with staff, customers, and other key stakeholders. Candidates must be flexible to cover shifts, including weekends, and must provide team support. The Pharmacy Team Leader will develop the healthcare service and staff, work collaboratively with all areas within the Prison and other services. Responsibilities include leading, supervising, and developing the pharmacy team, managing staffing rotas, providing clinical leadership, monitoring team performance, leading pharmacy meetings and safety huddles, supporting audits, collaborating with Lead Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager, and providing operational support as needed.
