The post holder will provide an initial contact point for all queries received within the Information Governance service. Communicates effectively by competent use of email, telephone, written and face-to-face communication according to guidelines and customer care standards. Acts as a touchpoint for internal and external contacts.
They will advise and support including, information sharing, management of information requests, investigation processes, confidentiality agreements, training, information risk management, policies and procedures. The post holder is responsible for ensuring relevant queries and requests are assigned to staff within Information Governance, Information Rights and Information Security teams.

Qualifications
Essential
- Information Governance qualification and training e.g. Data Protection Foundation Level (BCS)
- Three year's relevant administrative experience
Desirable
- Qualification in an ICT/IG related subject
Experience
Essential
- Recent experience in NHS IG standards
- Recent experience of undertaking risk assessments
Desirable
- Experience of promoting and delivering training, education and awareness in IG issues
Skills
Desirable
- Project Management skills
