ICC Development Lead - Lancaster

• Championing the development of the ICC so it fully reflects national priorities around population health, prevention, self-care, and the National Health Framework
• Building effective cross-ICC collaboration and robust infrastructure across the Morecambe Bay footprint, local councils, and the wider Lancashire & South Cumbria system
• Working hand-in-hand with specialist services to create seamless, integrated pathways for local citizens
• Deputising for senior colleagues and providing clear, influential reports on progress, performance, and opportunities
• Leading service reviews and supporting skill-mix planning, recruitment, and development to enable new ways of working
• Providing strong, visible leadership and line management for the case management team (incorporating Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Advanced Practitioners and Administrators)
• Working collaboratively with the named ICC Clinical (GP) Lead
• Co-ordinating modernisation, identifying innovative solutions, and evaluating short cycles of change that make the very best use of local assets
• Support the co-production of projects/events with citizens and community organisations

Essential

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant area
• Managerial or clinical leadership within a health or social care setting
• Project management of significant and multiple projects
• Improvement measurement systems and understanding of the role of measurement in performance improvement
• Able to demonstrate change management experience

Desirable

• Post-graduate management/leadership qualification
• Ensuring active patient and carer participation within development work.
• Strategies for disseminating best practice

• Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly with a wide cross section of partners
• A sound understanding of health and social care
• Well organised and able to deliver objectives within an agreed timeframe to achieve results
• Presents ideas clearly, with ease and interest, uses technical symbolic, non-verbal and visual aids effectively
• Excellent analytical skills, high level demonstrable Microsoft Office and data analysis skills
