- Support the delivery of a wide range of Trust-wide projects, including undertaking best practice research, collating and analysing benchmarking data, and making suggestions to inform decision making and progress.
- Work with the HR Policy and Transformation Lead on the rolling HR policy review process, including researching current employment legislation and NHS terms and conditions, drafting revised policies and making suggestions for changes or improvements to policies and procedures.
- Support the development of new policies and processes, making recommendations and suggestions based on relevant legislation, NHS Employers guidance, external research and benchmarking.
- Support the HR Policy and Transformation Lead with collating the information required to respond to Freedom of Information requests and Data Subject Access Requests, drafting responses as required.
- Support the HR Policy and Transformation Lead with the coordination of Employment Tribunal casework, including collating documentary evidence, arranging meetings with witnesses, monitoring the timetable associated with each case to ensure that all deadlines are met.

Education, qualifications or training
Essential
- Educated to degree level
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience
Previous Experience
Essential
- Experience of providing generalist HR advice to managers on a broad range of HR issues
- Experience of supporting the delivery of projects
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Essential
- Advanced keyboard skills and an ability to analyse and interpret data
- Ability to use workforce data systems to generate data and reports
- Ability to prepare written reports and present information and data to managers and staff in a way which is meaningful and relevant
- Excellent organisational and time management skillsto ensure the delivery of projects
- An understanding of the NHS job evaluation system
- An understanding ofcurrentNHS terms and conditions of serviceand anup to dateknowledge of employment legislation
