ASAPAbout the roleWe are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Housing Support Worker to join our Supported Housing team.You will support clients to develop independence, confidence and everyday living skills, helping them work towards their personal goals and move into suitable independent accommodation.Key responsibilities Support and empower clients to develop personal, social and everyday living skills.Encourage clients to take responsibility for their own goals and day-to-day tasks, including budgeting, appointments, bills and meal planning.Support clients to access community facilities, services, employment opportunities and appropriate accommodation.Help clients identify and work towards their individual goals and greater independence.Act as a keyworker for allocated clients as directed by management.Work in accordance with Support Plans, Risk Assessments and agreed procedures.Liaise with external agencies, including Mental Health Services, Housing Associations and other relevant organisations.Develop positive and professional relationships with clients, families, colleagues and partner agencies.Maintain accurate daily records, reports and other required documentation.Follow appropriate procedures for incidents, emergencies, health and safety, fire and security.Identify and report maintenance, repair and health and safety issues.Attend team meetings, supervision, reviews and appropriate training.Provide occasional cover for colleagues when required.Contribute to the ongoing development of the Supported Living Services team.Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by management. Essential: At least 2-3 years experience working within supported living.Enhanced DBS, in date.A driver with full access to a car. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, professional, organised and committed to empowering people to achieve greater independence. Experience in housing support, social care, mental health or supported living is desirable.Additional information:
