The successful candidates will need to have proven knowledge of delivering a successful housekeeping service, previous supervisory experience would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a continued presence on all clinical areas of the Trust ensuring continued support to the housekeeping team.

Education, Training & Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ in Cleaning or equivalent experience
- Level 2 in IT
- Level 2 or equivalent in English literacy skills
- Level 2 in English Numeracy Skills
- Educated to level 2 or equivalent level of education, training or experience.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience of working/supervising in a cleaning environment
- Previous supervisory management experience
- Knowledge of Health and Safety
- Knowledge of National Standards of Cleanliness
Desirable
- Previous Hospital/NHS cleaning experience
Skills
Essential
- Understanding of COSHH
- Prioritising own and others' workload
- Use of cleaning equipment and chemicals (COSHH)
Desirable
- Experience in the use of recognised cleaning software audit packages
