Housekeeping Assistant - Bank

Your focus as Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. You'll need to treat all residents with dignity and respect and regard their personal space and belongings. To succeed in this role, live values of caring, supporting, honesty, respect, and accountability in all you do, while having a knowledge of Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting, showing compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping and laundry service is essential. You must be flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
