The Post Holder will: -
Work as an integral part of the ward team.
Ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment and act as a focal point for non-clinical asks.
Co-ordinate the delivery of ward stores and cleaning.
Support the Unit Technician to co-ordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs, together with other specified tasks to meet the needs of the ward.
Work closely with support services, Facilities Management, and other departments as necessary.

Training & Education
Essential
- GCSE A-C English or equivalent eg certificate in adult literacy level 2
- GCSE A-C Maths or equivalent eg certificate in numeracy level 1
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Essential
- IT Skills, basic word, email, keyboard skills, data collection, MS office
- MS office Ability to successfully complete any required training programme and a willingness to continue learning
- Knowledge and experience of Cleaning and basic COSH practices.
Experience

- Experience in a health & social care setting
- Can demonstrate personal development
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety
Personal Skills

- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and other members of staff
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to that team
