We are currently recruiting for a Hospital Logistics Assistant to support a busy operating theatre environment at Epsom Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, warehousing, stock control, stores, retail stockrooms, hospitality, or similar hands-on operational roles who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a team that makes a real difference.
Working behind the scenes, you will play a vital role in ensuring theatre teams have the equipment, stock and supplies they need to deliver patient care effectively.
- Moving theatre trolleys and equipment between departments
- Collecting deliveries and transporting stock across site
- Replenishing and organising storeroom stock
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory counts
- Rotating stock and maintaining stock accuracy
- Ensuring supplies are available where and when they are needed
- Supporting the wider hospital logistics and theatre teams with day-to-day operational requirements
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience within logistics, stores, warehousing, retail, hospitality or similar environments would be advantageous
- A professional and positive attitude
£12.71 per hour
