This role requires strong multitasking skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care alongside our friendly team of nurses and clinicians. Responsibilities include assisting with administrative and non-nursing duties under the OPD Manager's guidance, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and working closely with the Outpatients Reception Team. Flexible working hours between 08:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday, are required. To effectively communicate within the nursing and multidisciplinary teamUse of electronic patient record systemParticipate as a team member to ensure that patients receive a friendly, efficient and effective service.Ensure patients are supported throughout their journey and are treated with respect and dignityTo report any changes in the patients' condition and situation as appropriate and update the nurse in charge of actions or advice givenShare learning/knowledge and instruct less experienced or new staff and apply all training to working practiceValue own and colleague's contributions to the teamTo support the qualified nurse in the daily allocation and planning of work and to comply with the allocationFacilitate a clean OPD environment meeting current standards in infection controlResponsible for the escalation of any unresolved risks to the OPD Matron/ Sister/ Charge NurseUse equipment appropriately according to training, instruction, or relevant competenciesUse stock control and rotation to avoid wastage and exercise a personal duty of care in relation to equipment and resources The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have: Qualifications
